The Many Uses of Ivory

When I think of bar soap the first thing that comes to mind is body or hand wash.  It belongs in the shower or sink. Wow did I learn a lot about Ivory Soap. It's not only for washing yourself but can also be used to remove stains on your clothes, do carving projects, do experiments with your kid, washing clothes and to clean your makeup brushes. Who can resist the clean fresh scent of Ivory too. Do you know why an Ivory bar soap floats? Because it is 99.94% pure. It is free of dyes and heavy perfumes. With the affordable price of $4.49 for a 10 pack of Ivory bar soap this is sure to become one of my favorite crafting, laundry, and beauty soaps. You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, and many other retailers.

I used some of my soap to wash my sons Taekwondo uniform and to wash my makeup brushes. Here are a few pictures to show how clean Ivory bar soap can leave the things you love and use everyday.

New bar of Ivory bar soap

I cut a few pieces with a knife

I placed them in the washer

Floating Ivory soap pieces

It does not make bubbles or suds up, but my sons uniform still came out clean and fresh.

Cut some small shavings of Ivory bar soap to clean my foundation brush

placed the shavings in a small bowl of water

YIKES!!! DIRTY BRUSH-makeup gunk all in the middle:/

Wow. Ivory bar soap really is getting my brush clean.

Clean gunk free makeup brush!!! YAY!!!!!♥

I received this product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster and Ivory in my Mom VoxBox 2012.
