Nail Magic----Update!!

This is a quick update on Nail Magic Nail Hardener.  After  2 1/2 month of using this, I have to say that I love it. I changed my nail polish every other day and always used Nail Magic as my base coat.  The nails on my right hand are about the same length except for my middle finger and my pinky nail.  Those broke while moving things around the house.  My bottle is almost empty and I plan on buying another one once this is completely gone. I would totally recommend this. Thanks for stopping by.

Random Ross Finds

Today Alex and me decided to brave the "cold"(51degrees) weather and ventured out for our weekly visit to Ross. I tell you this is my favorite store!! Frank if you are reading this...a gift card to Ross would be fine Christmas gift with me:) Any ways here are the few delights I was able to buy!

This lovely Rampage necklace and earing set was only $2.39 from $20.00. I could not pass it up.
This mini nail Color Club Dark Romance Matte set was only $2.99.

I know this cologne is kind of old, but my husband still likes it.  I sold him one when we first started dating about 12 years ago. This was on clearance too for only $13.00.....what a bargain. This is actually going to be one of his Christmas gift. Im hoping Alex can keep this a secret.
Last but not least, I bought Alex this dvd. Its a great collection of all his favorite characters.
Thanks for reading:)

Today I finally decided to try out my new nail polish from Wet n Wild called Disturbia. My favorite color is purple and was hoping this was going to be my new favorite polish.......wah wah!!! Boy was I wrong!!!
Wet n Wild-Disturbia
(never mind the messiness)
The color was too dull for me. It had no shine to it what so ever. I was ready to grab my nail polish remover when all of a sudden I looked up and saw my quick fix!!! Her name is Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure.

Sally Hansen-Hidden Treasure

One coat of this polish changes everything. It made this boring nail color look amazing. The gold flakes reflect the most beautiful shades of purples, greens, reds, yellows. It reminds me of oil stains on a wet parking lot. You know what I mean?  It has that pretty dark rainbow color.  Ohhh I love it. I found this at walgreens a few month ago and rarely use it. But when I do, I think to myself "how come you dont use this more". If you are lucky enough to find a bottle, I highly recommend you to buy it.

Konad Design

This design is one of my favorites. It's from Kondad image plate73. As a base coat I used Nail Magic. The main nail color was Suede Pumps by Tres Risk. I used You're a Gem by Tres Risk for the image. The top coat is Sally Hansen Diamond Shine. I am a huge Konad fan. I bought all of mine from wowsocool.com. They deliver them very fast. I stoped ordering because they did not honor coupon codes anymore. If they ever start accepting them again, I have a few more that I would love to buy.I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

Tres Risk Nail Polish

I found these Tres Risk polishes at Ross today for $4.99 each pack and the Borghese was $1.99. The colors are just gorgeous. The Tres Risk are cruelty free and are DPA, Formaldehyde, Toluene and Camphor Free. I'm so glad I picked these up. I might even go by tomorrow and grab another set for my moms birthday. Each nail has 2 coats on them and no clear coat on them and they still shine. The Borghese (Stellare Notte B355) nail color looks really pretty as well.  It has an irredesent color to it. I'm sure I'll be wearing these colors soon!

Nail Magic-Really??

I bought Nail Magic a couple of months ago. It was kind of pricy but I wanted to give it a try.  Thank goodness for my Sally's discount card!! My nails broke this weekend and I decided to start using it today. It is suppose to stimulate nail growth. I am going to use this as my base coat for six weeks and hopefully the results will be good.  I will try to post images weekly. Have you tried Nail Magic? Did it work?

Today is my 9 year wedding anniversary. Wow time sure does go by fast. We have actually been together for 11 years. We met because we worked next door to each other.  He was working at a grocery store and I was working at a retail store.  I thought he was so cute but was way too shy to even say "hi".  I guess he was shy too because he got one of his buddies to get my phone number. We went out the following weekend and been together ever since.  These  have been the greatest years of my life.  Im not gonna lie the first 2-3 years of marriage were the hardest. I gained so much weight and had to learn to live with someone who was total opposite of me. But I thank God we made it and are continuing to make it.  We really dont have much planned for today because his schedule is never set and today he is working an hour away. We bought IronMan 2 last night and hope to watch it tonight with our son and a big bowl of popcorn and m&m's. So how did you meet your special someone?

Well today was the Big Game...Houston Texans vs. Dallas Cowboys.  My husband and I are not really big football fans, but we decided to make a little bet. Fortunattly the Cowboys won and now he has to clean out the junk drawers in the kitchen.  I know I'm not the only one that has them, right??  So he has to do them all by himself without asking Alex or me to help him.  He also has to install a ceiling fan in my nail room immediatly following the cleaning of the drawers!!YAY!! This is the design I did to support the Dallas Cowboys.  I used Orly nail polish in La Playa and sponged Dazzle over it.  I used Bundle Monster Plate 05 for the big star and Konad image plate in m3 for the little stars, with Konad special white polish. Go Cowboys!!

First Day of Fall

Today was a lovely first day of fall.  It rained quite a bit but my son and I had a great day.  We finally made it to the library and we got there just in time for Spanish story time.  I want to take him more often that way he will be able to pick it up faster.  I picked up a few good books that I have wanting to read.  The first one I am reading is "The Girl Who Fell From The Sky" by Heidi W. Durrow.  So far it's a real good book. After the library, we enjoyed a fun lunch at Target. I was able to use a dollar off coupon from their mobile coupons from my cell phone. I also picked up some Vaseline lotion for about $1.39 after their coupon. Check out their site for coupons. The picture above is my first day of fall design.  I used nail polishes Cloud 9 and All About You from Sinful Colors and Sketchy Character by Finger Paints.  I used Bundle Monster image plate 05. The image was a little to big for my nail beds. Hope everyone has a blessed fall season<3

I love Grape Juice

So I was able to paint my finger nails last night.  The color I chose was Grape Juice by China Glaze. Its a  real pretty shimmery purple color. It takes about 3 coats to get a deep enough color.  I also used image plate 06 from Bundle Monster and white special polish by Konad. I attempted to use a white nail polish by Sinful Colors nail polish but the image did not transfer to my nail.  I even buffed the stamper, but it still did not work.  Oh well, thank goodness for those special polishes. Let me know what you think.

Where are the Keys??!!!!

Ok, so I wake up this morning still feeling like I could sleep for another 30 minutes.  I get my son washed, dressed and his breakfast ready.  Then I make my way to my room to get ready to head to the library.  I got the books that are due soon in my library bag; which I got ready last night.  I got my purse organized last night too.  I got $20.00 for lunch from my lovely husband.  Finally, my hair is up in a pony tail, make-up is half done, socks and shoes on my sons feet-check. Heavy bag of book on my shoulder-check. Purse-check.  Eye glasses-check. Phone in my pocket-check. House alarm set-check. House keys-check. Car keys-????? Great, where are the keys? They are not on the key holder that is shaped like a key and nailed to the wall. They are not on the counter.  And, no son, they are not in my pocket.  I pull out my phone, go to "my favorites" and call my lovely husband. Guess what??? The keys are in his pocket!! ARGH!!! He offers to turn around but he is already 30 minutes into his 1 hour drive to work. I decline his offer. So I guess I'll make today laundry day and get that over with.  Me and my son will do our halloween crafts.  Maybe I'll even paint my finger nails:) Thats always fun!!
